Crew Ship Still In Water

Up to 10 months to remove capsized cruise ship

This is the title found on the article about the cruise ship that was capsized two weeks ago. Seventeen people are still missing and recovery operations have been stopped due to rough seas. Also the removable of the 500,000 gallons of fluid is not going to happen at this time because of the rough seas. When it is time comes  to remove the fuel it is going to take 28 days and 15 tanks to do it.

When this accident happened all I could think about is the sinking of the Titanic. It almost had the same feel to it. The people didn't pay attention to warnings or didn't know what was going on. The crew didn't know about rescue procedures and so some lives were lost. The only difference was how the captain responded. And there were more lives saved this time than when the Titanic went down.

Father, I pray for those who were injured and I pray for the families who don't know where their family members are. It is a hard time for these people and we know that You can be there with them and show them You are there. I thank you for answering this prayer.
