I Thessalonians 2:4
But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts
Allow
To test, examine, prove, scrutinize (to see whether a thing is genuine or not) as metals
To recognize as genuine after examination, to approve, deem worthy.
How To Put Information Into Action
God tests us to see if we are ready and worthy to be trusted in sharing the gospel with others. He wants to make sure that we are not trying to please men rather than Him.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide you in how to talk to people about the gospel. He will guide you in the right way every time.
